From wood-fired bites straight from the Garden Oven to seasonal plates from our 25 mile menu out on our terraces, settle in at ours for a leisurely sun-skaed lunch or a long, hazy evening in the sunshine.
And, of course, we’ve got a serious drinks menu to match. Think freshly muddled, shaken and stirred garden-to-glass cocktails, local ciders and beers, English fizz and plenty of ice-cold PIG Cut rosé - all ready for slow sipping this sunny season!

If you fancy a spot to soak up every last drop of al-fresco afternoons and is a little more laid-back, our Garden Ovens across THE PIGs will be fired up all summer long! No bookings needed to join us, simply drop on by for some smoky wood-fired bites or tipples in the sunshine!

Explore the countryside
We’ve got plenty of walks right on our doorstep. Each of our hotels has a handful of tried-and-tested routes, perfect for getting out and exploring the surrounding countryside.
Wander through rolling fields, woodland paths and nearby villages, soaking up a little fresh air along the way. Then head back to ours for a well-earned bite to eat, a drink on the terrace, or something fresh from the Garden Oven, the perfect way to round off a good walk.
Tipple on the terrace
When the sun’s shining, the terrace is the perfect spot to settle in with something chilled in hand. Whether it’s a crisp glass of rosé or a seasonal spring-or-summer cocktail, it’s the ideal excuse to slow down and soak up the surroundings.
Pull up a chair, take in the view and let the afternoon drift by with a garden-to-glass tipple and good company. Simple pleasures, fresh air and a little PIG goodness, just as it should be.

Our summer Garden Parties are back for 2026!
...and this year is extra special, as 2026 marks 15 fantastic years of THE PIG!
The ultimate way to spend a summer weekend! We’ll be throwing open the doors to our lawn in Brockenhurst, Combe, and Kent this summer, for stripped back, home-spun, proper garden parties with great feasting food, live, local music and cracking entertainment to let the good times roll.
