Across the litter, we've got cottages, lodges and hideaways built for exactly that - private, characterful spaces with all your own room to spread out, and a PIG on the doorstep for whenever you fancy someone else doing the cooking.
Enjoy the best of both worlds
Wake up whenever you like, potter down in your pyjamas, and raid the kitchenette for eggs, bacon and whatever else we've stocked the larder with. Or, if nobody can be bothered with washing up, wander over to the main house and let us take care of it - a proper PIG breakfast, lunch in the garden, dinner by the fire.
That's the beauty of staying as a group at THE PIG. You get the privacy and freedom of your own cottage - your own sitting room, your own log burner, your own front door to shut on the world - with a full restaurant, bar and kitchen garden just a short stroll away whenever you want it. Cook a big group breakfast one morning, then let us do the honours the next. Best of both worlds, no arguments about who's on washing-up duty.

Home Farm House
Sleeps 6 · Three bedrooms
Just a two-minute walk from THE PIG-in the Cotswolds and The Village Pub, Home Farm House gives you the freedom of a private stay with a hotel on your doorstep. A proper farmhouse kitchen, a cosy sitting room, a dining room and even a games room for rainy-day fun - upstairs, the master bedroom has its own en suite, while the other two bedrooms can be set up as king or twin depending on who's coming along.
THE PIG-Bridge Place, Kent
Tucked into the grounds at Bridge Place, our two lodges each come with their own private space and a Kent countryside view worth waking up to. Perfect for a gang of four or a family getaway, both are just a short stroll from the main house whenever you fancy joining us for dinner.

The perfect hideaway for a gang of four, with a small private terrace overlooking the Kent Downs. A spacious lounge with a log burner and well-stocked kitchenette downstairs, and upstairs a master bedroom with a four-poster bed and a twin room, each with its own en suite.

Perfect for family getaways, with views across the picturesque village of Bridge. A fully functioning kitchen with a family-sized table, a cosy sitting room with a log burner, a master bedroom with its own en suite and freestanding bath, and a second bunk-bed room for the kids.

An ideal retreat for a family of four, full of cosy furnishings and rustic, reclaimed wood interiors. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed and a spacious en suite with monsoon shower and freestanding bath, while the Piglet's Room has cosy bunk beds - plus a multipurpose kitchenette and a comfy living and dining space with its own log burner.

The Orchard Stable

Tucked beyond the veg beds and behind the fruit tree orchard, this hideaway is perfect for families and gathering friends alike. Two bedrooms connect to a cosy lounge with a large log burner - the master with a four-poster bed and freestanding bath, the second with two proper twin beds - each with its own en suite monsoon shower.
THE PIG-at Combe, Devon
The Curlditch Cottages
Down their own private drive in the Devon countryside, three neighbouring cottages make up our biggest cluster of group hideaways - ideal if you're travelling as a bigger gathering and want everyone close by but with their own space.
All three cottages are three-quarters of a mile from the main house - a short, beautiful walk, or we're happy to collect you in the PIG Land Rover.
Chicken Run Cottag

Overlooking the wild meadow, stream and orchard, with the largest bedrooms of any of our lodges at Combe. A warm sitting room with a wood burner set into a large inglenook fireplace, and a galley kitchenette for gathering everyone together. The master bedroom is downstairs with a four-poster bed and freestanding bath; upstairs, the second bedroom can be a twin or double, with its own en suite shower.
Old Thatch Cottage

Nestled within the original walled garden, full of quirks - original stone floors, a large fireplace with a log burner, and a proper rustic kitchen with an AGA.
